Obamacare is just one more, huge unfunded mandate for the State of Texas and other states to bear, levying $500 billion in new taxes and adding one trillion dollars to government spending over the next decade—as if the budget deficit and national debt aren’t high enough. We need to reduce government spending for the sake of economy, and also because it is the only way to get at the corresponding size of government; and we have to Reduce government size and scope if we are to ever restore the constitutional Republic.
